Most clubs in the Marriott School have meetings where they talk about business trends, or listen to guest speakers. While we feel that is important, we also recognize that learning should be hands-on. Unlike all other BYU clubs, the Business Strategy Club gives students the opportunity to solve real business problems for real companies.

Students who participate in the club gain:

  • Resume material
  • Contests
  • Group projects
  • Guest speakers
  • Camaraderie
  • Real business experience

We feel this real experience gives members of our club an edge in interviews and in the business world. Those who participate will gain consulting experience in the fields of marketing, strategy, operations, human resource management, finance and entrepreneurship. Participants will tackle problems that only upper management deals with.

Our club provides students with the chance to learn and use complex concepts in a fun and competitive setting. We learn from one another, and we also have meetings where strategy concepts are discussed in detail. Many basic strategic frameworks are available online at our learning center.

Our meetings provide a fun environment where students work together, and learn from one another. We encourage creativity, competition and camaraderie.

Meeting times and events are listed on our calendar.
